Wanda M. Graffam, 76

NAPLES — Wanda Myrene (Chaplin) Graffam, 76, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at Market Square Health Care Center in South Paris, after a long journey with Alzheimer’s Dementia.

Wanda was born Aug. 2, 1942, the daughter of Myron and Louise (Burnell) Chaplin, in Naples Maine. She graduated from Bridgton High School in 1960. Wanda worked for 27 years as an office manager for MacFarlane Steel in Fryeburg. Wanda married Peter Dale Graffam on Jan. 6, 1962. They resided in Naples, where they raised their two daughters, Brenda Louise and Myrene Dale.

Wanda was predeceased by her parents; and her brothers, Melvin and Philip Chaplin. She is survived by her husband Peter Graffam of Naples; and her two daughters, Brenda (John) Holbrooks of South Carolina, and Dale (Paul) Ward of South Paris; her four sisters, Judy (Lee) Johnson, of Bridgton, Kathy (Russell) Allen of Naples, Alta (her late husband Richard) Rice of Waterford, and Leta (her late husband Harry) Cross of Naples; grandchildren, Alan Graffam (wife Meagan), Mason Shane, April Libby (husband Rusty); great-grandchildren, Matthew, Arianna, Jackson, Kenzie, Ethan and Braelynn; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at the Chaplin Cemetery in Naples, at 10 a.m., on Saturday, May 18. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice. Online condolences may be left for the family at hallfuneralhome.net
