USDA extends program, free school lunches to June

The USDA has extended the Summer Free Meals Program for the entire 2020-2021 school year.

It means all children, 18 years of age and under, can get a free breakfast and/or lunch daily, Monday through Friday at the following SAD 61 school sites: Lake Region High School, Stevens Brook Elementary School in Bridgton and Songo Locks Elementary School in Naples from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

100% remote students and/or students that are home on “non in-person day,” as well as any child 18 years or younger can get a free breakfast/lunch at a drive-through mobile site at the above mentioned schools.

Please note: On school vacations and snow days, mobile meal sites will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
