Theron ‘Ron’ Hatch III, 80
Theron M. “Ron” Hatch, III, 80, of Osprey, Fla., and Bridgton, died peacefully on October 25, 2020, at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born in Stoneham, Mass., on December 16, 1939, son of the late Theron M. Hatch, II and Mabel Tukey Hatch.
Ron grew up in Melrose, Mass., graduated from Amherst College, and attended the University of Pennsylvania Dental School. In 1963, he married the former Brooke Chapman in Salem, Mass. He served in the Navy in the Dental Corp at Schoodic Point.
Ron attended Pleasant Mountain Presbyterian Church in Bridgton. He was a member of Maine Dental Association, Hamm Foundation, Lions Club, Sarasota Scullers, the Maine Rowing Association, Bridgton Community Band, and Sarasota Village Walk Choir. He practiced dentistry at Mountain View Dental in Bridgton for over 40 years.
Ron is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Brooke of Bridgton and Osprey, Fla.; five children, Lindsay and spouse, Mark of Windham, Me., Theron and his spouse, Mary of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Heidi and her spouse, Bryan of Powder Springs, Ga., Johannah and her spouse, Daryl of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Jonathan and his spouse, Kristin of Boulder, Co. He also leaves 12 amazing grandchildren; and loving siblings, Vicki Webster, Steve Hatch and Chris Hatch.
A private graveside service was held at Sarasota National Cemetery October 28, 2020.
A Celebration of Life is planned for Saturday, July 10, 2021, at the Tarry-A-While beach on Highland Lake in Bridgton.
