Sugar houses open up again this Saturday, March 30
This Saturday, March 30, many of Maine’s local sugar houses will once again welcome visitors to enjoy this season of Maine’s maple syrup.
Maine’s maple producers pride themselves on creating many maple products including varieties of maple syrup, maple candies, nuts, baked goods, and popcorn. Maine’s maple producers pride themselves on making truly artisan products that are often available only this time of year.
Participating sugar houses include:
Greene Maple Farm, Sebago
Phillip View Farm, Sebago
Grandpa Joe’s Sugarhouse, North Baldwin
H&M Sugar Shack, Naples
Balsam Ridge, Raymond
Times vary from sugar house to sugar house. It is recommended visitors check with the farm directly to confirm. Some members will be open on Friday, March 29 and/or Sunday, March 31 as well. The Pure Maine Maple Facebook page may have the most up-to-date information from sugar houses.
