Sheila M. Schabhetl, 54, of South Bridgton died Sept. 9, 2010 at the Gosnell House.

She was born in Methuen, Mass. on Sept. 1, 1956, the daughter of Russell E. and Shirley (Lovell) Langevin, and was educated in Methuen schools. She graduated from Methuen High School, Class of 1975. Sheila had worked as a bank loan officer and teller for a time and was a homemaker most of her life.  She was especially fond of horses.

She is survived by her husband of 18 years Joseph Schabhetl Sr. of Bridgton; her mother Shirley Langevin of Bridgton; one son, Derek Seddon of Old Orchard Beach; two daughters, Deanna Sanschagrin of Bristol, N.Y. and Lynne Schabhetl of Bridgton; one brother, Robert Langevin of North Andover, Mass.; one stepson, Joseph Schabhetl Jr. of Manchester, N.H.; and four grandchildren.

Visiting hours were held at the South Bridgton Congregational Church, Fosterville Road, South Bridgton on Saturday, Sept. 11. Memorial services were held at the church on Sunday with Pastor Vance Jordan officiating.
