Scott A. Landry, 50
BUXTON — Scott A. Landry, 50, of Buxton, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2015, due to brain cancer, at the Auburn Hospice House, surrounded by his loving family.
Scott was born in Portland, on Sept. 2, 1964, to Dorothy F. and George M. Foster.
Scott was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting, camping and especially fishing. He was an amazing fisherman and had several fish mounted — a brook trout, a rainbow trout and a small mouth bass from his favorite fishing spot. Scott truly enjoyed fishing whether it was on the coldest day on the ice or the hottest day in the summer. He was our personal fishing guide and a great teacher to his sons and loved spending time with his family. He also loved to build hot rods with his latest one being a 1981 Chevy Malibu.
He worked for Irwin Industrial Tools as a machinist for four years.
He is survived by his father; his wife, Tracy Landry; his sons, Scott Landry of Biddeford and Bret Landry of Windham; two granddaughters; his brother, William Landry of Gorham; his sisters, Donna Jewett of Westminster, S.C., Karen Dehayes of Lewiston, Joni Fecteau of Casco, Tammy Landry of Gorham and Lisa Downes of Westbrook; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother; and his nephew.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015, at the Dolby Funeral Chapel, 434 River Road, Windham, with a short service at 11 a.m. at the chapel.
