Robert L. Fitzcharles
Robert L. Fitzcharles, Jr. passed away in the early hours of the morning on Saturday, November 16, 2024, after a courageous and hard-fought battle with cancer.
Robby graduated from Lake Region High School in 2000 and became a skilled and well-respected framing carpenter. He was affectionately known as Robby, Robs, Roberto and Robertino, and probably a few others. But “never late to dinner!” Robby loved to eat and cook good home-cooked food.
Robby fiercely loved his two children, Allie Mae Fitzcharles and Eli Grayson Parker. He loved them more than words can say. He was extremely proud of them, and they brought him so much joy.
Robby was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed hunting with his brother Ian and his father, Bob.
Winters he could be found on the ice, fishing with family and friends. Robby found peace in the great outdoors and the woods were his church. He found enjoyment and freedom on the open road riding motorcycles with his brother Grant.
Robby enjoyed many weekends over the years “upta camp” with lifelong friends and family.
Robby found love again with girlfriend Kallie Robinson and was fond of her son, Jordan Horan. Kallie stood by him through it all, she was his rock.
Robby stood by his principles. He looked after friends and family and never forgot a birthday. He could display a wicked sense of humor. And who can forget that smile shining through the beard.
Robby will be forever loved and missed by his parents, Bob and Kate Fitzcharles; brother Grant Fitzcharles and his life partner, Kellie Miller; brother Ian Fitzcharles and his wife Ashley, his two children Allie and Eli; his nieces and nephews Irie, Saunder, Isaiah, Sawyer, Evi and Colton; his grandparents John and Paula Ladd of Ohio; his Aunt Linda; his many uncles and their families; his dog Rocky and cat Figaro; and his many friends both old and new.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Willam Fitzcharles Jr., Carolyn Fitzcharles Pike, Herbert Pike and Mary (Molly) Ladd; and his Uncle Fitzy.
A time of memorial visitation and celebration will be held from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 24, 2024, at the Hall Funeral Home in Casco. Robby’s stories may be shared at www.hallfuneralhome.net. An informal celebration of Robby’s life will take place in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made for his children. Please reach out to Robby’s parents, Bob and Kate Fitzcharles for details.
