Player of the Week: Emma Cole
As the Lakers’ #2 skier this season, junior Emma Cole continued to race well into the State Meet, placing 24th in the slalom and 29th in the giant slalom to help her team place 10th out of 18 schools in Class B.
“Thank you, Emma for your commitment to the team and continued leadership,” said Lake Region alpine ski Coach Scott Davis in selecting Emma as the team’s Player of the Week.
In recognition of her strong work ethic, determination, commitment and good sportsmanship, Emma is this week’s Boosters and Hancock Lumber “Player of the Week.” Each week, a Lake Region athlete is recognized for his/her dedication (does more than what is asked), work ethic, coachability and academic good standing. Recipients receive a specially-designed t-shirt, sponsored by Hancock Lumber.
