Player of the Week: Brandon Sargent
With Lake Region looking for its first-ever boys’ lacrosse playoff appearance, Brandon Sargent came up big.
Sargent played extremely well in the final regular season game against Wells to help the Lakers clinch a first round playoff bye.
“Brandon had the opening goal of the game, which set the tone for the game,” Lake Region Coach Josh Plowman said.
In recognition of his strong work ethic, determination, commitment and good sportsmanship, Josh is this week’s Boosters and Hancock Lumber “Player of the Week.” Each week, a Lake Region athlete is recognized for his/her dedication (does more than what is asked), work ethic, coachability and academic good standing. Recipients receive a specially-designed t-shirt, sponsored by Hancock Lumber.
