Player of the Week: Alli Vogel
Alli Vogel broke into the starting Lake Region girls’ varsity lacrosse lineup as a freshman after just a couple of games last season and has been an important part of the defense ever since.
“This year, as a sophomore, she has taken over the key role in our backer defense,” Lake Region Coach David Keenan said. “Alli is a gifted three-sport athlete and a fierce competitor, who is a pleasure to coach and always eager to improve.”
In recognition of her strong work ethic, determination, commitment and good sportsmanship, Alli is this week’s Boosters and Hancock Lumber “Player of the Week.” Each week, a Lake Region athlete is recognized for his/her dedication (does more than what is asked), work ethic, coachability and academic good standing. Recipients receive a specially-designed t-shirt, sponsored by Hancock Lumber.
