Phyllis (Libby) Shaw, 100, passed away on Monday, Septem- ber 23, 2024, at the Bella Point Nursing Home, with her lov- ing family by her side. She was born July 1, 1924, in Bridgton, a daughter of the late Clarence and Abbie (Bryant) Libby.

Phyllis attended and graduat- ed from the local school system. She married Lawerance Shaw, and they raised their family in Bridgton.

She loved to go camping and
fishing and was a dedicated moth-
er and wife to her family, one of
her greatest joys was spending time with her family.

She was predeceased by her loving parents, Clearence and Abbie Libby, her husband Lawerance, her sisters Mable Irish, Marian Littlefield, Doris Osgood, and Easther Kilborn, her brother Richard Libby.

He is survived by her loving son Curtis Shaw and his wife Barbara, her grandchildren Heather Sargent and her husband Geroge, and Sally Shaw, and her great-grandchildren Katie Desjardins, Silas Desjardins, Pamela Sargent, Alex Bachel- der, and great-great-grandchildren Jake Mathews and James Mathews. And her brother Richard Libby.

In lieu of flowers those wishing may make a donation in Phyllis’s memory to the local VFW branch 176, Waterford Road, Harrison, ME 04040.

In keeping with Phyllis’s wishes, a graveside service took place on Friday, September 27, 2024, in the Forest Hills An- nex Cemetery, Bridgton.
