Patricia Bryant

FARMINGTON, NEW MEXICO — Patricia Katherine Newman Bryant, 70, of Farmington, N.M., passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2018.

She was born on Nov. 15, 1947 in Springfield, Ill. to William D. Newman Jr. and Elizabeth Mae Lahue Newman. They moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. when she was 13 years old. She graduated from Stranahan High School in 1965.

Pat had many jobs over the years, from switchboard operator to production supervisor to janitorial to home stitching, but the one she enjoyed the most was being a mom.

Pat is survived by her husband of 25 years, Donald Bryant; her brother, William D. Newman III and nephew; her children, Tammy Randall of Farmington, N.M., Kathy Reed Cantrell of Alabama, Patti A. Burnell of Brownfield and William A. Funk of Aberdeen, Scotland; her stepchildren, Peter A. Bryant of Wisconsin, Jerry L. Bryant of Wisconsin, Patrick A. Bryant of Brownfield and Beverly J. Bryant of Brownfield; 12 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Wood Funeral Home, 9 Warren Street, Fryeburg. A funeral service was held Friday, June 1, 2018 at the Fryeburg Assembly of God Church, 8 Drift Road, Fryeburg. Interment followed the service at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Fryeburg.
