STANDISH — Nicholas A. Wilson, 34, of Standish, unexpectedly was called to Heaven on Saturday, July 27, 2019.

He was a lifelong resident of Standish. He spent his childhood developing his love for mechanics and engineering while discovering his love for motocross and his thirst for knowledge of life.

He left a warm-hearted impression on everyone he met, and his generosity was only surpassed by the love he had for his family, especially his children.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Wilburn Farrow; and paternal step-grandfather, Clyde Hanscom.

His memory lives on within his wife, Rebecca (Kiser) Wilson; children Michalynn Wilson, Mary-Grace Wilson, David Wilson and Jason Wilson; his parents, Dean and Deirdre Wilson of Casco; brother, Christopher Wilson of Casco; maternal grandmother, Phyllis Farrow of East Baldwin; paternal grandmother, Marion Hanscom of Steep Falls; paternal grandfather, Douglas Wilson and his wife (Nicholas’ paternal step-grandmother) Donna Wilson of Sanford.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Aug. 1, from 1 to 2 p.m., followed by a 2 p.m. service at Living Waters Christian Church, 197 Parker Farm Road, Buxton. Burial will be private among Nicholas’s family at Steep Falls Cemetery.
