Myrna Colicchio

BRADENTON, FLA. — Myrna Buck Colicchio, 89, of Bradenton, Fla., and for many years of Littleton, N.H., died peacefully on Friday, Nov. 2, 2018.

She was born on Dec. 5, 1928, in Harrison, Maine, to the late Leland S. and Blanche (Haskell) Buck. Myrna had six siblings, two brothers and four sisters. She graduated from Bridgton Academy in North Bridgton, Maine. There she met her first husband, Paul Lynch. They were married in 1947 at the Buck family farm in Harrison, where generations of her family were born and raised. In 1956, she met and married her long-term partner and love of her life, Tony Colicchio. They made their home in Littleton, N.H. She was preceded in death by Tony in 2003, and by their son, Ralph Colicchio in 2015.

Myrna fully enjoyed the company of friends and family. Their home on Partridge Lake in Littleton was often the scene of social gatherings. She was a meticulous housekeeper who could also host boisterous neighborhood fish fries and barbecues. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her and Tony to open a pizza shop and also an auto repair shop in Littleton. For many years, Myrna was a bookkeeper at Lawson Granite in Barre, Vt. Her support of Tony's early race car career at Thunder Road in Barre in the early 1960s is the stuff of family legends, as is her hole-in-one at the Bethlehem New Hampshire Country Club.

Upon retiring full-time to Fla., she enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling in their RV, reading, a sunny day at the beach, and taking daily long "exercise walks." Throughout her life, Myrna was a quintessential sister. Her sisters, Madelyn, Miriam, Margaret and Muriel were her sisterhood. She cherished their relationship.

Myrna is survived by her sister, Muriel Cote of Farmville, Va.; two daughters, Laine Lucenti of Berlin, Vt., and Kathan Lynch-Leonetti of Chesapeake City, Md.; a grandson, Brock Lucenti of Berlin, Vt.; and great-grandson, Damien Lucenti.

In accordance with Myrna's wishes, services are private.
