NAPLES — Muriel Pauline (Barrett) Osborne, 96, passed away in her home on Saturday, June 29, 2019, surrounded by her family.
She was born in West Bridge-water, Mass., to Neil and Sarah Barrett.
Muriel and her husband Glenn raised their family in Indianapolis, Indiana and Rockland, Mass. She was a school bus driver for 25 years. In 1986, they retired to Naples, Maine. In addition to her deep faith, Muriel’s joys in life were her family and friends. She cherished each and every one of them. In her later years, she looked forward to summers, people watching, and ice creams in downtown Naples. Muriel also enjoyed winter vacations in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
She was predeceased by her husband Glenn Osborne; companion Havelock Dickson; brother Wilmer; sister Leona; and grandson Shawn.
Muriel will be dearly missed by her children, Edward and his wife Laura, Russell and his wife Cheryl, Steven and his wife Betty, Cheryl Cumming and her husband John; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; her devoted sister Elizabeth Ruprecht; along with many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service celebrating Muriel’s life will be held on Tuesday, July 9, at 11 a.m., at the United Methodist Church, Naples. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Naples United Methodist Church in her memory. Online condolences may be left for the family at hallfuneralhome.net
