Little different approach for Harrison 5K Run by the Lake
Harrison Rec Director Kayla Laird and race organizers were initially worried about numbers for this year’s Harrison 5K Run by the Lake due to the loss of Harrison Old Home Days.
“We actually had more people attend than last year,” Laird reported following last Saturday morning’s run. “We have seen a drop in numbers, but this year there was an increase, which was great to see. We did an online poll on the time change (previously, the race was held at 7 p.m., but this year, it was held at 9 a.m.) and we had more feedback on the morning time so we gave it a try this year!”
