Q. What is your favorite class and why? My favorite class is Pre-Calculus. I do have to admit there are times that I hate it, but in the end, it is my favorite class because it challenges me a lot but when it clicks I feel satisfaction.

Q. What is your toughest class and why? My toughest class is Pre-Calculus, as well. It is very challenging and oftentimes takes me numerous tries to understand it. However, like I said, it is a rewarding feeling when I understand it.

Q. How do you balance your class work and your extracurricular activities? I balance my class work and extracurricular activities by making a list of tasks by priority so that I know when I need to complete everything. It also gives me satisfaction when I can cross off something from my list. I also have a calendar that keeps me organized with all of my activities so I know when I have time for everything.

Q. What is the biggest challenge high school students face today? I believe that the biggest challenge high school students face today is having so many different expectations. The expectations range between our teachers, parents and peers so much that it is hard to adjust to. Most of us can never be sure what is the right option.

Q. Who has inspired you educationally, and how? The person that has educationally inspired me is Mrs. Peterson. She knows that there are times that students are going to be faced with more than they can handle, but she always tries to help them in any way she can. Math is a hard subject for many people to teach, but Mrs. Peterson goes above and beyond to try to make the lessons engaging to us students. She has always been willing to help me in any class that I needed help in, as well as my personal life experiences. She is overall an amazing person. I am lucky to have had her as a teacher.
