Our dear mother, Kimberly Gadway, sadly passed away on August 7, 2024, at the age of 58 in her hometown of Harrison after a long hard battle against cancer. What words are there when you lose someone who lit up your whole world? Words fail to capture all of the love, the smiles, the laughs, the happiness, and the warm hugs that we have been blessed to know from her our whole lives. Our mother was as beautiful as a wildflower in a sunny meadow, as fiery as a wild mustang, and as gentle as a summer breeze.

She was a loving wife, mother, and friend. She was a Registered Nurse working at Stephen’s Memorial Hospital for over 30 years, helping to bring new life into the world. Her great loves were the Lord Jesus, her husband, her daughters, her dog, and her four horses. She loved hiking, kayaking, gardening, riding, and helping others. She was a songbird with the most beautiful soprano voice you ever heard. She always had a cheerful word and a smile to share, even on her hardest days.

Our dear momma, you have gone through this life with such grace and gentleness. We and all who love you are faithfully waiting for that day when we will be together again as the Scriptures promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18.

For friends and family that would like to attend, there will be a memorial service for her on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at 2 p.m. at the Oxford SDA Church located at 259 Fore Street in Oxford.
