Kevin T. McCarthy, 56, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, unexpectedly at his home. He was born September 25, 1967, in Bristol, Conn., a son of Robert and Julia (Woermer) McCarthy. Kevin graduated from high school in Utah, then earned his com- mercial driving license and was working for R.C. Moore Inc. in Scarborough. He liked traveling, fishing, and spending time with his friends and family.

He was predeceased by his loving father Robert T. McCarthy, and his grandparents.

Kevin is survived by his mother, Julia of Bridgton; sibling, Patricia A. Miele and her husband, Ben of Holliston, Mass., Michael R. McCarthy of Bridgton, Julia Summers and her hus- band, John of Manchester, N.H., Maura J. Fitts and her hus- band, Jonathan of Framingham, Mass., as well as nieces and nephews, Katherine Kistner and her husband, Peter, Matthew Miele and his wife, Miranda, Christopher Miele, Amber, De- van and Tristen Summers, Geoffrey and Jonathan Fitts. And his great-niece Rose Cecilia Kistner.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 11, 2024, at the St. Joseph Church in Bridgton. Burial will take place at the convenience of the fam- ily at the St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Bristol, Conn.
