FLORIDA — Julie Weeks, 51, passed peacefully with her family at her side on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021, after an almost three-year battle with colon cancer.  

She was born on Nov. 19, 1969, in Bridgton, daughter to Wesley and Cynthia Gorman (Martin).  

Julie was survived by her husband of just over 30 years, Scott Weeks, and their two daughters.

Following Julie’s wishes, instead of a funeral service, the family will greet friends and share memories to celebrate Julie’s life on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Chandler Funeral Home, 8 Elm Street, Bridgton. For those unable to attend, the visitation will be live-streamed on Julie’s obituary page.
