Julia Grass

MATTAWAMKEAG — Julia A. Grass, 74, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor.

Julia was born in Bridgton on August 8, 1950.

Daughter of late George (Tex) Dubreuil and Ethelyn (Moynihan) Dubreuil. Julia grew up in Bridgton, attending Bridgton Schools.

She worked at the Bridgton Knitting Mill, L.L. Bean in Freeport and Crossroads Motel in Mattawamkeag.

Julia is survived by her husband Michael of 53 years, sons Christopher and wife Heather of Mount Vernon and Scott and wife Julie of Scarborough, two sisters, Loretta Towne of Sidney, Ohio, and Jill Bernard and husband Leo of Casco, three brothers, Kerry of Scarborough, Kevin of Harrison and Keith of Brownfield, seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Julia was predeceased by her parents, a brother Dennis, sister Donna Lee Lewis and her son Robert Miller.

A graveside service will be held at a later date in Bridgton.

While her passing brings deep sadness, we want to celebrate the remarkable person she was and the joy she brought to our lives.
