HARRISON — John Henry Rand, 80, was born on June 27, 1939, in Harrison, Maine and he passed away on Friday, January 10, 2020, on that same property.

He enjoyed horse riding with the Tri-County Trail Association, danc- ing at the Swingin’ Bears Square Dancing Club, hunting, and farming. His education was at local schools as well as graduating from an Ohio meat cutting school.

He was the son of Berl Rand
and Avis (Merrill) Rand, and was
predeceased by them as well as by
his brothers Arthur Rand, Paul
Rand, and his sister Linda Knight. He is survived by his sister Lillian Rich, brother-in-law Samuel Knight and three children, Justin, Laura, and Daniel Rand, as well as by many nephews and nieces.

There will be a private service in June.
