Jennifer L. Berry

Jennifer Berry

Jennifer Lee Berry, 43, of Casco. Our free-spirited Jenny Lee passed away on July 11, 2023, caused by health issues.

Jenny was born on June 11, 1980, in Fayetteville, N.C. to her proud parents; her mother Colleen (Laughlin) and her father David L. Berry, who at the time was stationed at Fort Bragg in the 82nd Airborne.

Growing up Jenny was active in Girl Scouts, softball, and her favorite sport to play was soccer.
After she graduated from Lake Region High School in 1999, she received her license in cosmetology from Mr. Bernard’s School of Hair and Fashion.

In the year 2008, she was blessed with the birth of her son, Devin Michael Davis. As a mother, she was always so proud of his accomplishments and treasured every moment they shared together, her love for Devin was immeasurable. Jenny was happiest surrounding herself with friends and family, making memories and sharing her unique sense of humor. Anyone who was fortunate enough to receive a text or message from her knew it would be full of abbreviations, emojis, and her hilarious gift of rhyming. She cared so deeply for the people around her. Jenny also loved the magic of the holidays, shopping, lobster rolls, going to the beach, live music and listening to Devin as he mastered the art of playing the guitar.

She was predeceased by her father David L. Berry; paternal grandmother Betsy Densmore; paternal grandfather Lawrence Berry; and maternal grandfather Gerald B. Laughlin.

She is survived by her son, Devin Davis; mother Colleen Berry; sister and brother-in-law Julie and Austin Burdwood; brother David R. Berry; nephews Aidon, Tyler, and Jaxon; niece Jada; maternal grandmother Janice Palmer; Aunt Donna and Uncle Rob Grover; Aunt Diane Sutherland and Uncle Don Christopher; Aunt Margaret and Uncle Dave Smith; Uncle Walter and Aunt Cindy Laughlin; Uncle Gerald and Aunt Becky Laughlin; as well as many beloved cousins.

Jenny was a kind and thoughtful soul with a loving heart. Her life was one that enriched the lives of all whom she touched. She will be greatly missed and always remembered by all.

Thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers for Jenny and our family. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, anyone wishing to make a monetary contribution please contact Julie Burdwood.
