James H. Bridges Sr.

AUBURN — James H. Bridges Sr., 68, of North Waterford, died on Thursday, Aug. 20,  2015 at the Hospice House in Auburn.

He was born in Putnam, Conn., on May 21, 1947, the son of Roger and Dorothy (Walker) Bridges, and had attended schools in Putnam, Conn. James served with the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War from 1964 to 1967.

He was a woodworker for Wilner Wood Products in South Paris for several years. He was a member of the Floyd A. Harlow Jr., VFW Post No. 9787 in South Paris.

Survivors include his sons, Jeffrey of Missouri, Matthew of Lewiston and James Bridges Jr. of North Waterford; sisters, Carol St. John and Joan Bridges of Putnam, Conn.; and two grandchildren, James Daniel Bridges and Autumn Bridges of Lewiston.
