Jacqueline Irving
Jacqueline “Jackie” (Bolton) Irving, 83, passed away on September 2, 2024, in Lewiston.
Born on March 25, 1941, in St. Johnsbury, Vt., Jackie was a lifelong enthusiast of the Miami Dolphins, cherished her time with her great-grandchildren, and was a familiar face at Bridgton Academy where she worked for 28 years.
Jackie’s journey began in St. Johnsbury, Vt., where she attended St. Johnsbury Academy. Her career at Bridgton Academy
was marked by dedication, managing the store and assisting in student accounts, creating lasting memories with the students and their families. Beyond her professional life, Jackie was passionate about gardening, yard work, and was an avid reader, often found engrossed in a new book.
She leaves behind her husband of 55 years, David T. Irving, Naples; her children, Devie Irving, Todd Irving, and David Irving with his wife Amy, all of whom reside in Maine. Jackie’s legacy continues through her grandchildren, Casey Mishoe, Courtney Harper and her husband Jim, and Shayne Irving, as well as her four cherished great-grandchildren.
A graveside memorial will be held privately for the family.
In remembrance of Jackie’s life, the family requests that any charitable donations be made to Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital, 22 Bramhall St., Portland, ME 04102.
