Holly Smart, 81, passed Thursday, Feb. 27, at Woodlands Memory Care. She was in hospice for a very short time. The staff at Woodlands gave her top quality care.

Ilan and Minnie Smart had six other children: Nancy Landry, Valmore and wife Dot, Robert and wife LeeAnn, Rosalie and husband Wally Edwards, Donna Smart, Randy and wife Robin.

After attending local schools, Holly remained in the Bridgton area. She worked at local motels, restaurants, Pleasant Mountain Moc, and cleaning homes.

Summers and fall you would often see her out picking strawberries, blueberries and blackberries, or out enjoying an ice cream with her pet dog.

Holly leaves behind five sons with their families: Steve Lyons, wife Cathy and children Julie, Lynn, Stephen and Nick; David Lyons and son Aaron; Wayne Lyons and wife Kay, their daughters Angela and Lauren; Daniel Lyons and his children Brittney, Caleb and Ben; Joel Smith and his wife and children.

Family and friends can meet to celebrate Holly’s life in the spring when the weather is better. A date will be posted in the obituary section with date, time and location.
