Gail D. Mitchell of South Bridgton lost her five-month battle with colon cancer on August 26, 2021.

Throughout her illness, Gail was strong and stayed positive, regardless of the many additional health issues that arose during her bout with cancer. All that knew her would remember Gail as a loving, creative, kind and thoughtful person with a big heart, who would do anything for anyone. Gail always saw the good in others.

She will be dearly missed by her husband Stephen of South Bridgton; daughter Lindsay and husband Adam of Windham, Maine; and son Ethan, wife Marley and granddaughter Libby of Windham, Maine; as well as many others who knew her, and the light she brought into the world.
