Emily Libby

WILLOW STREET, PA. — Emily Jane Libby, 93, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at the Willow Valley Communities, Willow Street, Pennsylvania.

She was born in Millerstown, Pa., to Budd and Hanna Owen. She graduated from Sunbury High School and worked as a legal executive secretary in Sunbury. There she met Richard Libby, a Minor League baseball pitcher. They married and had three children.

A kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many, she loved family, gardening and golf. She was predeceased by her husband, Dick; brother, Tom; and grandson, Bobby. She is survived by her brother, Lee Owen and family; two sons and their wives, Phil and Marlise Libby of Bridgton, and Budd and Renee Libby; one daughter and her husband, Cindy and Bob Eckert; and one granddaughter, her husband and son, Jill, Scott and Chase Migliori.
