Elizabeth A. Knott, 82
Elizabeth A. (Entwistle) Knott, 82, formerly of Lowell, Mass. and a resident of Silver Lake, N.H., passed away on Sunday, Sept. 3, 2017.
Born on Sept. 15, 1934 in Lowell, Mass. to Harold Entwistle and Mary Theresa (Hunt) Entwistle of Lowell, she married the love of her life, David H. Knott Jr. on Sept. 7, 1957 and they were happily married for 52 years.
Liz worked in the mills along the Merrimack River and in the electronics industry for many years. She also enjoyed teaching ceramics. Upon her retirement, she moved to Madison, N.H., where she loved and enjoyed her little mountain home with her beloved husband, David.
Liz was an accomplished artist and poet. She also loved music and dancing. She had a passion for animals, especially for her dogs and horses. She loved spending time at the ocean and the shores of Silver Lake with family and friends.
Liz was predeceased by her mother, Mary Theresa; her father, Harold; and her husband, Dave.
She is survived by her son, Jeffrey A. Knott of Clermont, Fla.; her two daughters, Lisa E. Moore of Stow and Leslie A. Schasel of Fryeburg; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and many beloved cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Furber and White Funeral Home, 2925 White Mt. Highway, North Conway, N.H. at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017.
