Ed was born in West Hempstead, N.Y., to Edward and Anna Busch. He attended West Hempstead High and Hofstra University. Ed began his career in marketing in New York and then when he moved to Florida, started a successful sales career in defense contracting, which took him on many trips all over the U.S. and abroad. He was a very proud American, working with many government entities to help keep our country and service members safe in the field.
In retirement, Ed enjoyed gardening, fixing things, and traveling with Karen in their motor coach and with the Maine Wheels RV club. He was very knowledgeable in construction, having fully renovated four houses over his lifetime.

He is survived by a daughter, Christine Neese (Mike) of South Carolina; granddaughters, Della and Clara Neese; sisters, Mary Busch of New York, and Ruth Ruzicka of Florida; nieces, Joanne Ruzicka and Karen Carroll; along with many dear friends and family.
Above all, Ed loved the Lord and lived a God-centered life, faithfully reading his bible daily and studying God’s word. He attended The Tabernacle Church in Melbourne, Fla., for many years and then upon moving to Maine, Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Windham.
