CASCO – Donna Jean Goding LaPointe “Do”, 80, went to Heaven peacefully on November 26, 2024 at 9:08 a.m. at her home in Casco. She was surrounded by her loved ones when she passed.

Donna was born on October 10, 1944, daughter of Reginald and Velma Anderson Goding in Ashland where she grew up. She moved to Webb’s Mill in Casco in 1961.

Donna graduated from Lake Region High School in 1979, one day before her daughter, Mary.

She loved to dance with her husband, Michael and loved raising her children and grandchildren. She was talented and creative with her crafts, which she enjoyed, especially creating holiday wreaths of all kinds.

Donna was deeply loved by those who knew her and her kindness and generosity had no boundaries.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Michael LaPointe of Casco. Her daughter, Mary Skillings of Melbourne, Fla., her son David LaPointe of Palm Bay, Fla., her grandson Dustin Skillings and great-grandson Alec Skillings of Concord, N.C., and grandson Cody Skillings and great-grandson Wyatt Skillings of Palm Bay, Fla.

She is predeceased by her son, Todd Arnold LaPointe.

There will be a celebration of life for Donna upstairs at The American Legion, Post #155 in Naples on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at 1 p.m.
