Christopher Rowe

Christopher “Chris” Allen Rowe, 58, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 3, 2017 in Bridgton.

Chris was born in Portland on Feb. 9, 1959. He received an associate’s degree in Applied Science, Medical Assisting, in 1994. In 2000, he received a bachelor’s degree in Divinity, summa cum laude.

Chris loved the outdoors and passed this passion on to his children, taking them for many hikes, swims and camping trips. Chris loved to ride his motorcycle, enjoying the wind on his face and the feeling of freedom it provided him.

Chris is survived by his parents, Linda Austin of Bridgton and Philip Cushman of Bridgton; his children, Kyla Rowe of Casco, Sarah Rowe of Denmark, Jessica Rowe of Bridgton and Daniel Rowe of Lyman; his brother, Dana Rowe of Naples; and his two grandsons.

He is preceded in death by his son, Matthew Rowe of Bridgton.

A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 11 a.m., at the Lake Region Vineyard Church on Main Street in Bridgton. All are welcome to attend and help his family celebrate his life.

In lieu of flowers and due to Chris’ allergies to them, the family asks that donations are made at Norway Savings Bank to assist with the care of his estate. Donations can be made into Kyla Rowe’s account named “Chris Rowe.”
