Christa Brown

BUXTON — Christa Ellen (Davis) Brown, 49, died on Saturday, May 23, 2015, at Maine Medical Center, following a severe asthma attack at her home.

She was born on Oct. 10, 1965, in Portland. the daughter of George and Lydia (Pfisterer) Davis.

Christa grew up in Gorham and attended local schools. She was employed for 21 years as pre-punch sewer, cutter at Sebago Moc, and for 11 years as a medical assistant for the Buxton location of Maine Centers for Healthcare. She dearly loved her work and the people she worked with.

She enjoyed gardening, flowers, and arts and crafts. She loved spending time with her family and animals, especially her dachshund, Louie.

In addition to her parents, Christa is survived by her loving husband of 30 years Robert D. Brown Jr.; son, Robert D. Brown III of South Portland; brother, Michael K. Davis of Hollis; sister, Belinda G. Davis of Bridgton; two grandchildren and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held Friday, May 29, 2015, at Hillside Cemetery, Huston Road, Gorham. Arrangements are by the Dolby Funeral Chapel, Windham. Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.dolbyfuneralchapels.com
