‘Centers’ reaching out through ‘virtual’ means

Lakes Region Recovery Center

Due to the current pandemic, Lakes Region Recovery Center is closed.

However, even a pandemic can’t stop the recovery community. Recovery doesn’t take a break for holidays, snow, sleet, rain or virus! LRRC is working hard from home to bring support to the community. LRRC is continuing to reach out to members via the Telephone Recovery Line, regular posts on Facebook for resources and are adding more support meetings to the online meeting list daily.

Currently, LRRC is able to offer 12 Step Meetings and all recovery meetings online. Michelle Valeriani, LRRC Program Coordinator, is working hard with volunteers and facilitators to bring more to the virtual world so recovery can remain accessible not only to members but also to people in the community who may still be struggling with substance use disorder and mental health issues.

If anyone is in need of support, LRRC can be reached through the following:

• By calling the Recovery Line at 207-803-8709, leave a message and someone will return your call.

• By leaving a message on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/LRRCBridgton

• By sending an e-mail: info.lrrcbridgton.org@gmail.com

?• For the most current information on when online meetings are please check out the LRRC calendar on the website: https://www.lrrcbridgton.org
