12:30 p.m. Domestic violence report on Sandy Creek Road.
Tuesday, April 14
1:59 a.m. Noise complaint on Main Street. Caller said construction crews “blow drying” the sidewalk in that area were waking up her child.
3:11 p.m. Controlled substance problem (hypodermic needle found) on Elm Street.
8:17 p.m. 9-1-1 hang-up area of Knights Hill Road.
8:57 p.m. Citizen assist regarding motor vehicle registration.
Wednesday, April 15
9:35 a.m. Controlled substance problem on Walker Street.
10:36 a.m. Request for an officer to assist with a child custody exchange.
5:06 p.m. Suspicious vehicle report on Burnham Road.
5:24 p.m. Motor vehicle crash on His Ridge Road. Driver said she was unfamiliar with the road and overcorrected, causing the vehicle to go off the roadway, down the embankment and striking a tree.
5:29 p.m. Speeding complaint on Jak’s Way and Mountain Road.
8:24 p.m. Welfare check at Headwall Drive.
Thursday, April 16
10:20 a.m. Assist to South Portland Police regarding theft case.
10:59 a.m. Motor vehicle crash (vehicle backed into in the Paris Farmers Union lot); offending vehicle left the scene.
12:45 p.m. Officer delivered selectmen paperwork for upcoming meeting.
6:53 p.m. Criminal trespass complaint Sucker Brook Road. Caller reported subjects illegally cutting trees, spearing fish, leaving trash (cigarette butts and beer cans) and peeing in public.
8:12 p.m. Noise complaint (fireworks) on Washington View Lane.
8:45 p.m. Controlled substance abuse problem on South High Street.
Friday, April 17
8:30 a.m. Fire truck in ditch on Hio Ridge Road.
11:46 a.m. Caller informed police that he purchased a vehicle in March, and its temporary license plate had “blown off.” He wondered if “it will be an issue” since the Department of Motor Vehicles is closed and he is unable to secure a plate.
1:22 p.m. A two-vehicle crash occurred in the post office parking lot. No injuries reported.
4:56 p.m. Caller inquired if she could take a license plate off another car and put it on a newly purchased vehicle in order to bring it home.
7:27 p.m. Citizen assist regarding trash illegally dumped on the side of White Mountain Way.
8:38 p.m. Welfare check on Old County Road.
Saturday, April 18
12:02 a.m. Subject attempting to gain entry into the hospital as a visitor. Doctor advised the subject that due to coronavirus the hospital had instituted a no visitor policy. Officer Hammond and Sgt. Jones met with the individual and “de-escalated his demeanor.” No further action was taken.
10:49 a.m. Subject reported losing his ID (unsure where, possibly the Big Apple area).
11:34 a.m. Pedestrian check on South High Street.
2:26 p.m. Suspicious person report at Junior Harmon Field snack shack.
4:16 p.m. Citizen assist at Lakeside Pines Road (possible missing person).
6:10 p.m. Juvenile problem (harassment) on Cross Street.
8:44 p.m. Wanted person matter on Harrison Road.
10:05 p.m. Speeding and disorderly motor vehicle complaint (Chevy SUV “doing donuts and burning tires”) on Hio Ridge Road and North High Street. Driver located and warned.
Sunday, April 19
11:17 a.m. Juvenile problem on Wayside Avenue.
12:32 p.m. Citizen assist to retrieve items from another location.
1:16 p.m. Citizen assist regarding removal of a dead fox from a Sandy Cove Road property.
1:20 p.m. Noise complaint (loud music) on Sanborn’s Grove Road.
3:31 p.m. Community policing detail on Main Street.
