Monday, March 30

8:47 a.m. Caller, who lives in Rhode Island and had plans to come to Bridgton this weekend, inquired about state travel restrictions due to Covid-19.

9:53 a.m. Caller had questions regarding motor vehicle registration.

10:59 a.m. Verbal disturbance at a Knights Hill Road residence.

1:03 p.m. Criminal trespass complaint at Stonehenge Drive,

1:47 p.m. Caller checking on his driver’s license status.

4:08 p.m. Report of a subject sitting in a gold Jeep Cherokee in the Big Apple parking lot harassing a construction flagger. Police checked the area and found no disturbance.

6:07 p.m. Caller inquired how to safely dispose of prescription medication since the BPD drop box is closed.

Tuesday, March 31

1:45 p.m. Harassment complaint at Stonehenge Drive.

2:27 p.m. Caller reported that his son backed a vehicle into the post office box at the North Bridgton Post Office.

2:58 p.m. Caller requested to speak to an officer regarding an abuse issue.

4:47 p.m. Wellbeing check at a Main Street apartment. Subject found to be intoxicated and refused to go to the hospital for evaluation after making reported suicidal statements.

7:10 p.m. Attempt to locate a minivan, whose driver was reportedly under the influence and lacking a driver’s license, on Douglasville Road.

8:20 p.m. Police were dispatched to Walker Street for a possible break-in. Caller was sleeping and was awaken to the noice of a window being broken.

8:29 p.m. Suspicious activity on Walker Street. A car pulled into a parking lot, and several people exited the vehicle and starting to yell and run around an apartment building. The subjects got back into the vehicle and drove off toward Main Street.

10:40 p.m. Call received regarding female, who had cut herself with a knife and was at the hospital emergency department; Officers Smolinsky and Regis responded.

Wednesday, April 1

12:13 a.m. Disturbance involving patient at Bridgton Hospital.

8:39 a.m. Disturbance on Frost Farm Road.

10:10 a.m. A local attorney asked police to serve court paperwork.

11:37 a.m. Fuel truck spill in parking lot on North High Street.

3:13 p.m. Domestic violence complaint on Portland Road.

3:22 p.m. Phone message left for subject to register under sex offender program.

8:16 p.m. Officers checked the Sandy Creek Road area after receiving a report of possible underage drinking; Sgt. Jones and Officer McCloud responded.

Thursday, April 2

1:50 a.m. Noise complaint (loud music) on North Bay Road.

12:56 p.m. Caller reported that some groceries were left outside of the library, maybe be someone who was unable to carry everything back to his/her home. Caller did not want the groceries thrown away, so she placed them on her porch and left a note where the items could be found. The caller wondered if no one retrieved the groceries could the items be donated?

3:38 p.m. Custodial interference issue (children leaving the state as part of visitation agreement) on Walker Street.

7:14 p.m. Welfare check on Monk Road.

Friday, April 3

10:26 a.m. Citizen dispute (return of a phone) on Douglasville Road.

5:42 p.m. Citizen dispute (female causing a disturbance, request to remove subject) on Frost Farm Road; Officers Muise and McCloud responded.

Saturday, April 4

11:11 a.m. Caller inquired if stay-at-home order in effect, reporting six “guys are in a garage chatting and drinking beer” at a Holden Hills location.

1:30 p.m. Disturbance (fist fight) on Frost Farm Road.

4:04 p.m. Welfare check (possible elder abuse) on Portland Road.

5:15 p.m. Community policing (Officer Regis) on Main and Depot Streets.

5:18 p.m. Disorderly conduct (threatening comments) on Portland Road.

5:50 p.m. Harassment complaint on Beaver Creek Farm Road.

8:30 p.m. Fireworks complaint on Mountain Road.

11:54 p.m. Disorderly conduct on Portland Road.

Sunday, April 5

12:16 a.m. Report of subjects throwing rocks through a window on Rockwood Way in Naples.

5:04 a.m. Missing person (female, who had been drinking, not answering text messages) report on Fish Tale Lane.

8:29 a.m. Welfare check of subject sleeping in a vehicle parked behind the Town Hall off North High Street.

2:13 p.m. Disturbance on Walker Street.

7:14 p.m. Police responded to a report that a man had shot himself with a pistol outside a Fowler Street residence. United Ambulance dispatched.

10:04 p.m. Suspicious vehicle parked on Mountain Road.

10:06 p.m. Disturbance (unwanted subject attempted to enter residence) on Harrison Road.

Monday, April 6

10:49 a.m. Report of subject trespassing at Harrison Road mini-storage.

12:12 p.m. Citizen assist at Big Apple on Main Street. Subject’s ID expired and was denied being able to purchase cigarettes. Caller requesting officer to respond to assist in purchasing cigarettes.

5:46 p.m. Pedestrian check on Fowler Street.
