Brian O'Grady

HIRAM — Brian J. O’Grady, 63, of Hiram died unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at his home.

He was born in Coral Gables, Fla. on Aug. 1, 1951, a son of James and Martha (Flint) O’Grady. He attended Florida and Michigan schools graduating from Edsel Ford High School in 1969

He was an accomplished carpenter and woodworker specializing in custom homes and specialty cabinets.  He worked extensively throughout the United States. He was also a motorcycle enthusiast and a member of the Moto Guzzi Association. He made several cross-country motorcycle trips. He also loved the outdoors including hunting, fishing, camping and made several trips to Canada, as well.

Brian will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was predeceased by his father, James O’Grady.

Surviving are his son, Daniel O’Grady of Hiram; his mother, Martha O’Grady of Portland; a brother, Kevin O’Grady of Portland; sisters, Colleen O’Grady of Portland and Bridgette Dixon of Massachusetts; a nephew and a niece.
