Bonnie Turcotte

FRYEBURG — Bonnie M. (Webster) Turcotte, 71, of Fryeburg, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, Aug. 16, 2019, at Bella Point in Fryeburg.

She was born on Dec. 3, 1947, in North Conway, N.H., a daughter of Dean and Elaine (White) Webster. She attended local schools, graduating from Kennett High School in 1965.

After high school Bonnie went to work for the Continental Phone Company in Fryeburg, where she met her future husband, George J. Turcotte. After their marriage she went on to work for Forrest Industries in Fryeburg as the office manager, and stayed on there until she retired to lovingly care for her ailing husband. They were married 39 years until his passing in 2009.

In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, attending craft fairs, and going out to camp with her friend Fred Goss. Above all else however, she loved spending time with her family. She especially embraced her role as “Nana.”

She is survived by her son, Troy Turcotte of Fryeburg: daughter, Tori Canfield and her husband Christian of Fryeburg: and eight grandchildren: Kayla, Emily, Adam, Hailey, Nicholas, Kailyn, Ryan, and Tyler: and one sister, Brenda Leach of Conway.

She was predeceased by her husband; parents; and her brother, Buddy Webster.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Androscoggin Home Healthcare and Hospice for your years of love and support.

A celebration of Bonnie’s life will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Friday, Aug. 23, at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Fryeburg. Gifts may be given in Bonnie’s name to the Dempsey Center, 29 Lowell St., Lewiston ME 04240, or the Fryeburg Rescue, PO Box 177, Fryeburg, ME 04037.
