Lucien R. (Cookie) Gosselin

Lucien R. (Cookie) Gosselin, 76, passed away on Feb. 10, 2025, at his home after a short battle with cancer.

Cookie was a longtime resident of both Harrison and Sebago before moving to his forever home overlooking Bigelow Preserve in Eustis.

He was predeceased by his parents, Lucien and Georgette Gosselin.

Cookie is loved by his wife, Diane Barnes-Gosselin, his children Adam Gosselin, Aaron Gosselin and his spouse Lauren Gosselin, Andra Patch and her spouse Dan Patch, Ryan Quincy and his spouse Adrienne Quincy, and Laura Quincy. Cookie was also blessed to be loved by eight beautiful grandchildren.

Cookie graduated from Edward Little High School and served in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper with the 101st Airborne Division while in Vietnam. He was known and loved by all the communities he lived in and worked in for his giving nature and devotion to helping others whenever he was able. He is loved by so many who lives he touched.

In the late 70s, Cookie started Wood Killer’s Tree company which later became Cook’s Tree Service, as well as starting his 45-year career as a lineman for CMP in Bridgton. Upon retirement, he started a new business of private line construction and continued with tree work.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no service, however, we invite you to please privately celebrate Cookie’s memory in your own way.
