Senior Jonalisa King of Naples has been selected as the Mason’s Lake Region Vocational Student of the Month for December.

Hobbies: I enjoy working out, reading, and thrifting.

What program are you in at the Vocational Center? I am in the Law Enforcement program.

What do you like most about your program? Law Enforcement at LRVC opened the door for me to academic advancements through its college dual enrollment courses. I have gained a lot of new knowledge from the program.

What are your plans after graduation? I will be attending Saint Joseph’s College of Maine to study Criminal Justice.

What career goal(s) do you have? I hope to pursue a career in law or law enforcement.

Who or what inspired you to pursue this path? The first job I ever dreamed of having was being a police officer. My grandfather was a police officer, and in recent years, I have gained a lot of interest in criminal law.

What advice would you like to give future students? I would advise them to work hard and never give up, even when things are tough. Just keep pushing forward.
