Jane M. Noble, 71, of Oxford passed away on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2025, surrounded by family and friends

Jane was born Dec. 7, 1953, in Augusta, the daughter of Donald Wilbur and Ruth Troop, and Clara Watson.

She graduated from Oxford Hills High School in 1972 and has celebrated many lifelong friendships. Jane can be remembered for her love of her children, grandchildren, large family, and many, many friends.

Jane’s favorite place was Reid State Park, enjoying climbing on the rocks and searching for sand dollars despite the cold-water temperatures. Jane enjoyed sharing these adventures with her children, sister, parents, and spouse Lennie Wing. Jane enjoyed her gardens with day-lilies and irises, participating for many years in the Maine Iris Society.

She is predeceased by her parents, Donald and Ruth Troop of Poland; her grandmother, Elva Miller of Oakland; and her cousins, aunts, and uncles.

She is survived by her spouse, Lennie Wing Of Oxford; her mother Clara Watson, and husband, Ray of Oakland; her sister, Linda Clark, and husband, Clayton of Poland; her children, Tracy Smith, and husband, Scott, of Bridgton; Robert Kimball Jr. and partner Nicole of Bridgton; Donald Noble, and wife, Lesia, and daughter, Melinda Noble; Dennis Wing, George Wing and wife Caresse, Billy Wing, Joshua Wing and wife Michelle, Ashley Carr, Angela Wing; and her grandchildren Mallory Smith, Brian Kimball and Alden Kimball, Alexandra Noble, Lilly Noble, Owen Noble, Viktoria Noble, Abbigail Guilford, and Darcey Thurlow; Caden Wing, Kylie Wing, Willow Wing, Caroline Wing, Isabella Wing, Easton Wing, Emmet Wing, Abigail Wing, Dejah Wing, Jeramiah Carr, Jado Carr, and Niyma Carr.

Visiting hours will be Saturday, Jan. 11 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Chandler Funeral Home, 26 West Dwinal Street, Mechanic Falls.

A graveside service will be scheduled in the spring in East Winthrop.
