Player of the Week, Delaina Grover
Delaina Grover has improved every year in throwing and sprinting, Lake Region Indoor Track & Field Coach Dana Caron says.
“She is always open to advice from coaches,” Coach Caron noted. “Delaina helps with setting up practice and getting equipment ready for meets. She is very encouraging to teammates and has a great positive attitude.”
In recognition of her strong work ethic, determination, commitment and good sportsmanship, Delaina is this week’s Boosters and Hancock Lumber “Player of the Week.” Each week, a Lake Region athlete is recognized for his/her dedication (does more than what is asked), work ethic, coachability and academic good standing. Recipients receive a specially-designed t-shirt, sponsored by Hancock Lumber.
