Q. What program are you in at the Vocational Center? I am in the Early Childhood Occupations II program.

Q. What do you like most about your program?  I like being able to take what we learn in the classroom and apply it to real life in the playschool.

Q. What are your plans after graduation? I plan to go to college.

Q. What career goal(s) do you have? I plan to become an English teacher.

Q. Who or what inspired you to pursue this path? I am employed in a job that requires me to work with disadvantaged children, and that inspired me to pursue teaching.

Q. What advice would you like to give future students? Put in the hard work, put in the sweat and tears. It’s worth every shaky breath, every doubt about whether it’s actually worth it. Trust me. Believe me when I say it’s worth every second.
