Jeannine R. Morelli
LEWISTON — Jeannine R. Morelli, 83, of Casco, died Friday afternoon, Nov. 3, 2023, at the Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.
She was born on July 29, 1940, in Paxton, Ill., the daughter of Walter and Mary (Stewart) Campbell.
As a young girl, Jeannine moved to Massachusetts with her family, settling in Malden. She attended local schools, graduating from Malden High School. It was in Malden where she also met and married, Carmine B. Morelli Jr. in 1960.
They made their home in Massachusetts for several years until deciding to move to Maine where they had a seasonal home in Casco.
Jeannine worked for Hancock Lumber for several years before working as a bank teller for a number of years for various institutions, retiring from what was Oxford Bank in Casco village. In retirement, she worked in customer service at Shaw’s in Windham.
She was an avid reader and enjoyed the company of her “ladies group” in Casco and an occasional trip to the casino. She also loved the company of her pets and enjoyed volunteering at Responsible Pet Care in Norway with her daughter.
She is survived by three children, Carmine Morelli and his wife, Mary of Otisfield, Lisa Morelli Connolly and her husband, Martin of Otisfield, and Christopher Morelli of Casco; a step-granddaughter, Jessica Potter of Biddeford; nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Carmine; two brothers, Walter and Robert Campbell; a sister, Mary Piccirillo.
A time of memorial visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m., Friday, Nov. 17, 2023, at the Hall Funeral Home in Casco.
