He graduated from Brockton High School, Brockton, Mass., and attended St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y. Walter was a self taught and solo guitar musician. Music theory was his passion. His interest in learning was forever present, and his avid reading was evident in the number of books covering subjects such as Math, Philosophy, Psychology, Religion, Art, and the realm of Science plus mysteries and many fictional materials that surrounded him in his home.

He was kind, friendly and caring. His sense of humor was subtle. Walter enjoyed walking and engaging people in conversation during his walks, but he also enjoyed his time alone with his books, playing his guitar and composing, plus solving extremely difficult mathematical problems while listening to his extensive collection of CDs.

Let his memory continue as we come together in Pondicherry Park, September 10, 2023, at 2 p.m.
