CANTON — Brian Manchester, age 75, of Bridgton, passed away on Friday, June 23, 2023, at the Pinnacle Healthcare facility in Canton, Maine.

He was born April 9, 1948, in Bridgton, the son of the late Charlotte Prentice.

Brian attended and graduated from Bridgton High School, the class of 1968. He joined the United States Army and proudly served during the Vietnam War and was in the Reserves 20 plus years. He also had a passion for fishing, ice fishing, and hunting.
Brian worked multiple jobs over the years, Fryeburg Fair, Mains Wood Mill, Cornwalls in Norway, and a tree farm in Fryeburg.

He was predeceased by his mother Charlotte Prentice in 2018.

He is survived by his brother, Keith Manchester of Bridgton, and sister Anita Manchester of Portland, along with several cousins.

A graveside service to celebrate Brian’s life was on Saturday, June 29, 2023, at 2 p.m. at the Forest Hills Cemetery, Bridgton.
