Woods Pond Association annual meeting

The Woods Pond Association (WPA) Annual Meeting will be held on Saturday, Aug. 6 at 9 a.m. at the Lakes Environmental Association (LEA) Lake Science Center, 52 Willett Road in Bridgton.

WPA is a non-profit organization formed to preserve, protect and enhance the water quality of Woods Pond. All are welcome to attend.

Adam Zemans, executive director of Lake Stewards of Maine, will be the guest speaker. Zemans will address climate change impacts on lakes and community resilience. Given the climate changes we have been experiencing in recent years, this is a timely topic of great importance.

Board members will also provide updates on the Association’s activities over the past year and plans for the future.
