Rotary Citizen of the Month Brianna Sargent
Brianna Sargent of Naples has been selected as the Bridgton-Lake Region Rotary Club’s “Citizen of the Month” for April.
Each month, the Rotary Club recognizes a Lake Region High School student who displays good citizenship and contributes to the school community. The recipient is presented a monetary gift.

Future Plans: Going to college to college for two years to get my Medical Assistant degree

What do you consider as traits that make someone a good citizen? I believe that being a great leader and being involved in your community is a great trait that makes someone a good citizen. I also believe that being responsible for your actions and taking accountability for your actions is a big thing to be a good citizen and helping others in your community.
Who has inspired you to be a good citizen? My parents have inspired me to be a good citizen because they taught me how to be responsible and hold myself accountable for my actions. They have also made me become a great leader and be involved with my community.
What have you done to make the school community a better place? I am very involved with things in my school like sports and activities that will help our school and make the school environment fun.
Why is volunteerism important? Volunteerism is important because you are doing good for others and the community.
In the future, what do you see yourself doing to make the world a better place? In my future, I see myself making everyone feel a part of the community and mean something to the community.
