Roland Dube
BEDFORD, N.H.— Roland Dube, a a long-time Maine resident and former Plant Manager of Etonic Shoe Company Auburn, Maine, died Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at Ridgewood Center in Bedford, N.H.
Roland Dube was born in Berlin, N.H. December 9, 1938, to parents Ernest and Irene Dube. He graduated from Notre Dame High School in Berlin. Roland was married to Lorraine Jacques in 1958 (his wife of 64 years) and was employed by Converse Rubber Company in Berlin, N.H.
Roland and Lorraine moved to Gillander Ave. Auburn, Maine with their 3 children in 1966, where they resided until 1982. Roland assumed many roles in manufacturing for companies including Chelsea Industries, Endicott Johnson, and Groendyke Mfg. until his retirement in 1990. Roland and Lorraine moved to Naples, Maine in 1990, where he did volunteer work as a member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Joseph Catholic Church.
He is survived by his son Michael (wife Michelle); predeceased by his daughter Paulette and son Marc. Also survived by son-in-law Thomas Dudley and daughter-in-law Carol Dube; six grandchildren Renee, Nicole, Ellyne, Caitlyn, Olivia, and Rex; and three great grandchildren.
Roland died surrounded by his loving family after a long battle with non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bridgton on Saturday April 23, 2022 at 11 a.m.
