Thomas J. Cabral

NAPLES — Thomas J. Cabral, 71, of Naples died from complications of heart failure at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston on Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2021. 

He was born on May 23, 1950, in Woburn, Mass. to parents Arthur and Helen (O’Donnell) Cabral. 

Tom grew up in Stoneham, Mass., and graduated in 1968 from Stoneham High School. He went on to attend college at Lowell Technical Institute and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting in 1972. He continued his education at Northeastern University to be a Certified Public Accountant. He worked as an accountant and financial planner for many years. 

On June 23, 1974, Tom married Margaret “Peg” Kenney and the two went on to have two children. The family lived in Wakefield, Mass., for 30 years. In 2009, they all moved to Naples. He spent many summers in Naples camping with his family since the 1960s. Tom loved snowmobiling, ice fishing, golf, boating and being at the lake. He was president of Muddy River Snow Seekers Snowmobile Club in Naples for many years.

Tom leaves behind his children, Jonathan and Sharon, as well as many nieces and nephews.

There will be no services at this time, but a Celebration of Life will take place this coming summer.
